Engineering Intern (2015 - 2016)

In my time as an intern at OXO I spent the majority of my time developing standalone test rigs to verify the quality of production parts. The majority of these were developed using OpenCV computer vision. I introduced the team to computer vision and helped other engineers apply it to their projects. I designed the hardware as well as wrote the software in C++ and Python.

The rest of my time was spent running tests on pilot runs of new products, investigating quality issues in production parts and running nonlinear FEA simulations on compliant mechanisms.
